Bethaina Rasheed is a Bay Area native who was raised in the beautiful town of Danville. Seven years ago, Bethaina decided to pursue her interest in event design and began studying color palettes, themes, décor, and custom flower arranging. While working full-time, wedding and event planning quickly became a side hobby for Bethaina as she voluntarily planned and coordinated events for her friends and family. In doing so, she discovered that her keen ability to fuse creativity and organization allows her to naturally compose the event of her client’s dreams. Bethaina’s past experiences exemplify her talent in creating a unique design that represents a couple’s or an individual’s story and style.
In June 2011, Bethaina made her own dream wedding come true! To ensure her wedding was exactly as she imagined it, she took the responsibility in planning every last detail. Bethaina chose and designed everything from the venue, dress, flowers, cake, color theme, and invitations. As a result, her wedding perfectly epitomized her and her husbands love story. Bethaina knows that everyone should feel as special as she did on June 5th 2011, no matter what kind of event it is you are celebrating.
After planning countless events for friends and family, Bethaina realized this was what she wanted to pursue as a career. Shortly after giving birth to her wonderful son in March 2013, Bethaina decided to officially register her dream business as a wedding and event planner in 2014. Through Simply by Bethaina, she’s expanding her design services to all of Northern California.
